An African Workplace for an African Technology Company
Terragon challenged Dulo to create a headquarters that celebrated African creativity while operating within significant renovation constraints.
Rather than erase the building’s history, the design preserved key architectural elements and repurposed existing furniture, demonstrating that sustainability and exceptional design can coexist.
Inspired by Lagos as a gateway to Africa, the workplace incorporates road-sign graphics, destination-inspired murals and handcrafted materials including rattan and Adire-inspired detailing, alongside design influences drawn from across the continent.
A flexible training auditorium was designed to transform effortlessly into a social lounge, encouraging learning, collaboration and informal interaction throughout the day.
The result is a distinctly African workplace—modern, contextual and deeply connected to both place and culture.
