Her work sits at the intersection of design, enterprise, and systems thinking, with a focus on creating businesses that are both commercially viable and socially impactful.
She serves as Chairperson of the Stanford Seed Transformation Network Board of Trustees, an initiative of the Stanford Graduate School of Business committed to growing and scaling African enterprises. She previously led the establishment of the network in Nigeria, supporting entrepreneurs in building enduring businesses.
Nwamaka is the author of Navigating the Return, a guide for diaspora entrepreneurs building businesses in Africa, and writes the Good Business with Nwamaka Okoye column in BusinessDay Nigeria, where she shapes conversations on ethical leadership and enterprise across the continent. She also hosts The Seed Diaries, a platform that documents the real journeys of African entrepreneurs.
